Sup, my first week in Florence has been rather eventful. i got robbed. Walking in the section of Florence that has 3 or 4 bars i was walking to my roommate who was across the intersection, my wallet was in my front pocket on a chain that was tucked in, this skinny Italian guy walked behind me ripped the chain off my pants and took off down the back streets i ran after him but realized i couldn't do shit. the chain broke and the loop did not even break off.I walked back with my roommates, all i can say is it sucked, i let my guard down for 20 seconds and it disappeared with in 5. these guys probably do this every night, look for drunk tourists, which i wasn't, which makes it even more frustrating. everything is good tho, my cards are cancelled, i had only 50 euros, I'm getting a replacement American express card which i can pick up from a tourist office on Monday. On top of this my laptop hard drive is about to die.
other than that the classes I'm taking are great, my roommates are sick, and have met tons of chill people. the food is amazing, ill upload pictures when fix my laptop. I'm taking the train to Venice tomorrow for the 2nd time with some people which will be great. photography there is great.
